A lifeguarding role is perfect for those undertaking study or wishing to pursue a career in paramedicine, nursing, emergency services or the Australian Defence Force.

Requirements

Requirements (or willing to obtain)

• Current RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award including - up to date CPR & Defibrillator. Our training company has courses available each month. 
• Senior First Aid. Our training company has courses available each month. 
• Working with Children check (Blue Card) - no card no start. 
• 
  

Desirable 

• Pool Plant Operator's Certificate 
• Security 

General Responsibilities will include but not be limited to 

• Supervision of the water 
• Water Testing 
• Cleaning 
• Crowd management 
• Emergency Response 
• Meet & greet patrons - representing our Company and Ipswich City Council. 

The facility is operational 7 days/week all year with a varied range of shifts, you must be available for at least 3 days/shifts per week including some weekends and some public holidays.
