A lifeguarding role is perfect for those undertaking study or wishing to pursue a career in paramedicine, nursing, emergency services or the Australian Defence Force.
Requirements
Requirements (or willing to obtain)
- Current RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award including - up to date CPR & Defibrillator. Our training company has courses available each month.
- Senior First Aid. Our training company has courses available each month.
- Working with Children check (Blue Card) - no card no start.
Desirable
- Pool Plant Operator's Certificate
- Security
General Responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Supervision of the water
- Water Testing
- Cleaning
- Crowd management
- Emergency Response
- Meet & greet patrons - representing our Company and Ipswich City Council.
The facility is operational 7 days/week all year with a varied range of shifts, you must be available for at least 3 days/shifts per week including some weekends and some public holidays.
